The Christmas whirlwind

Christmas has so far provided what can only be described as the usual but charming craic. It has passed in a whirlwind of food, games of monopoly, carol services and visits from aunties and uncles.
I have been making good use of the mp3 player I was given for Christmas by listening to Tim Hughes whilst lying in bed and watching the stars. Turns out the universe is quite big.
Few plans now exist for the week, although this morning it is the legendary 'Old Heads V. Young Legs' St Peter's Christmas football match which I shall amble along to and lend my lungs to supporting. A special blog on this great event may appear later on.
Oh, and the word on the street is that heavy snows are on their way...

I apologise that my blogs are fairly short these days but you must understand that when I am at home the computer is under the stairs on the landing, so one is less inclined to sit for a long time typing things.
