Fall Back

Go on. Ask me why I am posting this before 9am on a Sunday morning. That's right, as far as I am concerned, it is actually just before 10am on a Sunday morning.
I got up after what I thought was a fairly respectable lie-in until 9 (for me, that counts as a lie in), had a shower and all that jazz, and then turned the radio on. The lovely Charlotte Green finished her news bulletin by reminding everybody (in her hypnotically beautiful voice) that the clocks had gone back. Which was nice of her, but I suddenly realised I could have had an extra hour in bed and still got up reasonably early. This is not funny. This is distressing.

Yesterday I finally finished reading Bleak House. It was a monumentally awesome read. Jarndyce v Jarndyce is a case which has been grinding through the court of chancery for as long as anyone can remember and as the novel progresses it sucks more and more people into itself. Its victims are from all walks of society.
Its taken me several weeks to read, partly because it is long, and partly because I have been reading lots of other things at the same time, and, being male, find multi-tasking quite a challenge.

Those random photos by the way are an example of how mesmerisingly difficult photo booths are. The first shows me completely oblivious to any photo being taken..the second surprise that the first was taken, the third shows my mind trying to work out what is going on, and the final realisation that I am sat in a photo booth only comes with the last.
