Comedy elephants

I very rarely have days in which not much happens, but for the last two days that is exactly what I have had. I have spent most of my time either attempting to read some middle english lyrics or making a stab at Bleak House . Today I did make a quick trip into the city centre with James, but really all this resulted in was a failed attempt to buy some ink cartridges, and the obligatory trip to Bostons. But later I went to the cathedral to try and work out if my lecturer was right in saying that some random statues of Elephants could be found in there. In his own words, 'there is something inherently funny about elephants'. I'm not quite sure what that inherently funny thing is, but I can see where he is coming from. Alas, my search for the comedy elephants was fruitless, but I did come across an old man telling some school children about how to play the organ. This was not really as comic as the elephant would have been.
I would love to relate something more exciting and involving, but, sadly, at the moment, there is simply nothing to tell.
