Cold Cornish Pasties, Dawlish Warren, and other unusual things

James and I decided to go for a cycle road trip today. We then came back after about five minutes because I decided my bike's back tyre needed pumping up. Once we got going, we headed off towards Starcross. Note the beautiful sunshine, calmness and serenity of the place (see photo on left). We then continued to Dawlish Warren (see photo at bottom) Note the dark hanging clouds, and the look on my face as I realise the Cornish pasty I have just bought is colder than Brian Edwards. This pretty much sums up Dawlish Warren. We continued round the corner to Dawlish, where it was sunny, and, most probably, the owners of cornish pasty shops know the difference between a fridge and an oven.

Hi dave..I have indeed missed your perspective on the world, ever so slightly skewed in the direction of my own view not as radical and definitely more random, keep up the good work. Have to catch up with your summer experiences some time...and yes I still have your map...sorry :(

In all fairness Rhys, my wild welshman friend, its hard to see how I could possibly speak radically about a cold cornish pasty, but I have no doubt it is somehow possible. Indeed we must catch up...
